I am so glad I am not renting. That place is hardly affordable. And, OMG, a common kitchen?! Does it come with maid service (the kitchen)?

Boston has some of these high priced micro apartments too. There is a theory that this kind of space with common areas appeals those who have both youth and money. With these rents, the renter wouldn't be able to afford furnishings...which is good as there's no space.

I have read about those apartment buildings too. I guess they are for the single people who get transferred often. They don't want to own furniture and most don't want to own a car.
