Commercial Batik Process

This is how the batik fabric we buy at the fabric store is made.  It's made by hand in faraway countries.  It's pretty hard work.

Wow, those are a lot of work; I had no idea they were made in such low-tech conditions. I'm a huge batik fan, so I do my part to keep those folks employed. =)
