My cutting table

My table was too low for cutting so I asked John to make it taller.

These are the little blocks he made.  The side with the round holes is where the table leg fits in (it has some kind of metal glider at the bottom of the legs.)

My quilting work surface

I taped together two pieces of 2x4 rigid foam insulation panels to make a really versatile work space.  I can prop it on the wall and pin fabric to it like this:

Or I can use it as a table top on my ironing board like this:

This is a quilt sandwich I assembled on my table top.  It's very light so I can rotate it easily, which is a great boon.

It's easy to store it when it's not in use.
