Groundhog Day and a touch of spring

Coffee on the front step
The air is scented with winter blooming shrubs (viburnum, winter sweet, daphne, sweet box).  It's been lovely weather for walking.  The sun is stronger and the days are longer.  And it's been much warmer.

I guess the ground hog is predicting an early spring (in Pennsylvania).  It was a sunny early spring day here..in the mid fifties, great working weather

It's time to garden.  And we did!  I did as much as my wrist allowed.  John took up the slack.
