Bait and switch weather forecasting

The forecast for a string of sunny days keeps moving another day forward.... first they said Sunday, then Monday, now it's up to Tuesday!  It feels like bait and switch to me....  I must be really ready for a sunny day.

Rainy garden views

We've been having quite a bit of rain.  We even had a record amount the other day.

Our spring days have a mix of rain and sun and rain and sun.  I love days like that.  It's invigorating and beautiful.  But a little less rain would be good.

Neighborhood school

This is a neighborhood grade school.  We walk by it frequently.  It looks so much more inviting than my grade school (which had a lot of asphalt, a parking lot, playground equipment, maybe a sandy ball area)  I don't remember any plants at my grade school.

This Portland grade school has gardens and chickens, interesting play areas and nice plants!  Here is a link to a newspaper story about the kids working in the local park.
